The David Charles Horn Foundation

An ongoing commission to sculpt the Judges of the Yale Drama Series Prize. The Prize was founded and is supported by the David Charles Horn Foundation which seeks to invigorate contemporary theatre by discovering and celebrating new voices in playwriting. An acclaimed American or British playwright serves as judge for a two-year tenure. The first commission was of the late Edward Albee who served as the inaugural judge in 2007-8 and the most recent is Ayad Akhtar.

Thomas Gainsborough RA FRSA (1727-1788)

In 2015 Farhi was commissioned by Gainsborough’s House Museum to sculpt a bust of the artist Thomas Gainsborough for its collection. Gainsborough’s House in Sudbury, Suffolk is the childhood home of Thomas Gainsborough and is a national centre for the exploration of Gainsborough’s art. With Thomas Gainsborough as its inspiration it seeks to bring to life the art and ideals of Gainsborough to inspire a new generation of visitors.
